  • NC State Students, Faculty, Staff, & Centennial Campus Partners

    Interlibrary Loan

    The Libraries will borrow materials not available in the NC State University Libraries from other libraries and digital delivery vendors. This includes materials not owned by the NC State University Libraries and items checked out, lost or missing. There is no charge for this service.

    TRLN Direct

    TRLN Direct is a service used to quickly fill interlibrary loan requests from Duke, NC Central, and UNC Libraries. TRLN Direct items are delivered to your pickup library in 1-2 business days. Items filled through TRLN Direct check out for 120 days with no renewals to faculty, graduates, and staff, and 30 days with 3 renewals to undergraduates. There is no charge for this service.

    Digital Delivery of NC State-Owned Materials

    The NC State University Libraries will scan articles from sources in our collection and deliver them to you via email. We will scan and deliver articles from any NC State library, including any of our branch libraries. This service is free of charge for NC State students, faculty, staff, and Centennial Campus Partners.

  • Distance Learners

    Any NC State student, faculty, or staff member can request home delivery of books, whether they are accessed through interlibrary loan or owned by NC State. There is no charge for this service. All article PDFs will be delivered by email automatically, whether or not you have enabled distance services.

  • Friends of the Libraries

    Digital Delivery of NC State-Owned Materials

    The NC State University Libraries will scan articles from sources in our collection and deliver them to you via email. We will scan and deliver up to 30 articles per year from any NC State library, including any of our branch libraries. See Digital Delivery for Friends of the Libraries patrons for more information.

  • Non-NC State Patrons

    The NC State University Libraries will scan articles from sources in our collection and deliver them to you via email. We will scan and deliver articles from any NC State library, including any of our branch libraries. There is a fee associated with this service.   • Lending to Other Libraries

    This service is for non-profit, non-OCLC affiliated libraries. For a cost-recovery fee we will deliver copies of items in the NC State University Libraries collection. We will also loan books to those willing to abide by our loan request agreement.
